Marin General Hospital's Family Birth Center offers expecting mothers and families many of the comforts of home, including single-patient birthing rooms, decorated in soft pastels with new furnishings and original works of art. Rooms also feature rocking chairs, private baths with showers and air conditioning.
The experienced staff has assisted with more than 60,000 births since the hospital opened in 1952.
Here is a typical labor, delivery and recovery (LDR) room at the Family Birth Center. Spouse and family are welcome to attend the labor and birth in this spacious private room.
