Robotic-assisted surgery using a new da Vinci® Surgical System at Marin General Hospital.
The robotic platform is designed to enhance surgical ability for surgeons while extending the benefits of minimally invasive surgery to more patients. Surgeons at Marin General are using the system for prostate, gynecologic and general surgical procedures. These include prostatectomies and hysterectomies as well as procedures for uterine fibroids, problems with other pelvic organs, and procedures for reflux disease, hernia repair and colorectal problems.
Transition Update
Marin General Hospital will transition to the Marin Healthcare District on June 29, 2010. While delivering high quality care remains our top priority at MGH, we are also working tirelessly to ensure a successful transition and to facilitate the continued success of MGH beyond the transition.
